Hi,
He said he was using mail or mutt and not *pine* :-) It is not created
by pine or mail or mutt or even netscape messenger, but by the pop
server ( especially imap and
ipop3d server ) to keep track of the mails that are read/unread. If
you don't want this message in your message, do what suresh has said
or install qpopper ( Another POP3 Server ) which does not create this
message. And BTW nuthin much happens if you delete that mail. it will
be created when you pop in the next time. So you should keep on
deleting it everytime or leave it there :-)
HTH
