Right, but it appears to be triggered if you create / enter / edit a
mailbox in pine - which, fwiw, comes from the same people (U Washington)

If you have an imap folder on your remote mailbox, and remote mailbox has
imap filter rules as well, they will (very likely) get screwed up if you
delete it. [yeah, there _is_ a reason for that st00pid thing] :)
If you just pop your messages down to your linux box and apply local
filters, relax.
