There seem's to be a problem with DISKDruid with RHL6.1. I personally had a
very bad experience with it on at least 3 different types of hard disks.
By the way, I too have a 10.2GB Seagate ). It's very buggy and crappy in
Custom mode, and it really destroyed my partition table completely.
Instead, I would suggest u use fdisk/cfdisk. It's indeed very powerful and
safe to use. I used Partition Magic, because I didn't know about how to
run fdisk in RHL6.1 So, on one instance I used, the fdisk from RHL5.2CD.
I have recognized the problem to be with the partitioning part with
Diskdruid. On one instance, even if I have say 3 GB of space free, it
didn't allow me to allocate even 1 GB of it to Linux. ( Nikhil, if u could
verify this !!!)
So I partitioned first using fdisk and then went on with the installationof
RHL6.1
