hi,
recently i modified the xfree86 file to support my sis 6215 but i guess
i cudnt locate the xserver and now whenever i start up linux it doesnt
satrt the xserver and doesnt start .i want to somehow boot into the
shell by bypassing the xwindows which starts by default so as to modify
my xfree86config file.can u tell me which file and wat to modify to
enable me to do that.also if someone can tell me how to configure my
linux fer my graphic card it wud be helpful .
also i tried configuring my sound card through kmix but asks me to log
on as root and give read an write permissions while i already did that
it stills ask me to do it .pls help me out
