Get the "Tcp/ip Illustrated vol 1,2,3 " by stevens. An indian edition is
available now 999/- for the lot. A must buy !!.

If you are interested in network programming the "Unix network programming 
vol 1 & 2" by stevens is also an A class book.

If you are from bby univ then you have to get Tannenbaum, coz all what
your profs are going to ask you is,"what are the 7 layers of the OSI
protocol". Profs_have_no_clue about unix and probably think that a socket
is a light switch.
