hi,
Abt good books 4 Linux.. I will recommend "The Unix Programming
Environment" by Kernighan & Pike. The book is quite cheap too :-) under 100
bucks. Linux is almost 95% Unix. So most of the stuff that applies to Unix will also
apply to Linux and vice-versa. The book gives u quite a lot of programming fundaes +
into to shell scripting + Unix system calls(applicable to Linux)+ intro to lex and
yacc....
Right now I am just begining with "The Design of the Unix Operating
System" - Maurice Bach. can't say much abt it right now...
Regards,
Atul
