hi all this is a strange problem i am currently facing on redhat6.0 i am using 2 network cards in my linux box kernel modules are as follows: 1.rtl8139 ip address 192.168.0.1 2.ne2k-pci ip address 192.168.100.1 while booting it say "OK" for bringing both the interfaces it pings both the interfaces from the liinux box itself and services like httpd,smtp etc are listening on both the interfaces now the strange part I CANT PING ANY OF THE MACHINE ON THE NETWORK OF eth1 (192.168.100.x) there is no problem with the cable,switch etc worst part is if i interchange the modules in conf.modules (swap eth0 and eth1) then the new eth1 stops pinging and eth0 starts pinging please help ----------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on the LIH mailing list see: http://lists.linux-india.org/lists/LIH
