Hi
Is there any application running on Linux to do a ftp search and then
ping the resulting sites? I mean, if I decide to download
pacgage_x_y_z.tar.gz, I feed its name to the application, it does a
ftp search, and then pings each of the reulting sites and shows which
is the fastest. Then, I run wget on the package..
I searched freshmeat without success...If it does'nt exist, any idea
how to go about it?
