Hi Sir,
I am a student of 2nd year Computer Science Engg.
  REC Jalandhar.
I am trying to spread Linux in my college
As part of my efforts i am seting up a Linux network
in our college.
I am using five 386 computers 4 mb ram and 256 mb HDD
the computers have a network card(D-Link)
they do not have a sound card and a video card.
and a Compaq deskpro as the server (40 MB ram)
please can u suggest which version of Linux will be
best suited for the network
the version should provide the following
functionalities
should have a text based browser, should be able to
connect to a Windows network,should have a c compiler
Sir please see that the distribtion which u sugest
runs efficiently on the limited hardware.
I would be highly obliged if u help me.
