Hey Hey Hey........as i acknowledged earlier, it was from ur earlier
link to intel sites that I was
able to configure my 810..., but there were differences in the way i set
up my i810 as compared to ur
mail.
1. No downloading/compiling the kernel as such
2. Not the agpgart from matrox users
3. No agpgart patch to the kernel
4. No setup of utah-glx........(which might confuse newbies)
so what i wrote down earlier was *not the same thing* ....don't get me
wrong.....I was just sharing my
experience in setting up i810...no usurping of credit or anything
intended.
I might not have x running on my m/c if it wasn't for the link to intel
site from u...so don't give up
writing howtos..........keep them coming.....

LIH is all for free speech. But it was created for a purpose - to help
people discuss issues about installing and running Linux. If your
messages are counterproductive to this purpose, your privileges to
submit messages can and will be revoked.
