Sure !! What about us humble developers who make our
living by writing software for windows? Writing S'ware
for linux is still not as lucerative.
L'x is more than a match for W'dos, on the Server....
You can strip all the unnecessary things & run a bare
bones server making it superfast.. .. etc...
but as Rohit pointed out it still has a long way
to go in terms of hardware support & for the desktop in general.
L'x may be free but the people who administer it
certainly arn't, they costa good deal more than
NT/2000 admins. Right Thaths ?
The change might happen , but not definately
not suddenly,after the PM (post M'soft) era.
