Hi,

I too was facing the same problem when I tried to use X > 3.3. But if you use the X 
server
supplied with CHIP CD (Red Hat 6.0) than there are no problems.

However on some SiS6215 cards the new servers also work. This is a great mystry as to 
why
one SiS6215 card gives problem and the other works fine on X server > 3.3.
