Dears,
Yesterday I downloaded the stable kernel 2.2.16-3 from
http://updates.redhat.com.How to install it? 'coz yesterday i installed thru
kpackage it was destroyed the old kernel and copied the new kernel image in the
/boot directory. When I try $ lilo, it says kernel 2.2.14 not found. After that
I don't know what to do, just I restarted it! Alas! While LILO: loading
linux.... message came and it was stopped. I don't have boot disk also! Then
today I reinstalled the system without formating, I got the old files. please
tell me how to upgrade the kernel ? (The files are in RPM format).
