Hi mukund,
yeah i have just laid my hands on pcq cds.
mar2k has python, perl studio 1.0 and c/c++ source code visualiser.
apr2k has JDK1.2.2, linux presentation, linuxconf 1.17, some icq, and
whether to pronounce linux as _Lih-nucks_ or _lie-nux_, having voice of
Linus Torvalds himself pronouncing it :)
i have yet to explore it. don't know whether these are on linux or on
win. anybody needing more info need to ask.

you have just spoken what has always been my heart.

there are so many replies in this list, several people getting angry if
not irritated, and tersely suggesting, "search net", "go to freshmeat",
"download from abrabcadabra", "contact *linux*.com/net/org/edu".
i always get puzzled that these people not realising that at DoT lines
and pay by clock net connection these luxuries are beyond reach, however
i desire to do that. i don't want to loot a bank to pay for surfing.

feels nice that somebody understood compulsions of ordinary indians :)
regards.
