With all Due Respect,
I have posted this para a million times in LIH that,
"I have Altered my system date to an older date because I have an internal
Creative modem (read Costly) which I have not been able to configure or make it
work under Linux because it simply does not respond to the Modem Query at port
/dev/ttyS3 (COM 4) hence I am forced to use $doze for Internet Surfing and mail
management and I have already suffered a loss of Rs.5000/- way back in 1998(26
April,1998 to be precise) when my PC was hit by Win.CIH Virus and my 4.3 GB HDD
had to be thrown out in the Garbage(including the data if it was still there on
it). So I now give myself a "room" of about 2-years by changing my system date."
