I abide by the phrase of
"Prevention is better than Cure"
There is nothing wrong in being on the safer side. Atleast by altering the
system date I can save myself from the time bound(Date controlled) attacks of
viruses.  You are saying this only because you were not the one who lost 4 GB of
precious data and the Disk itself unaware of what actually was going on!
