Yours is an internal modem. Linux does not support internal modems - no
"drivers" as you say are available for these as under Windows. A few
rockwell based internal modems are said to work. Check
http://www.linmodems.org to see if the chipset your modem uses is supported.
Get an external modem....3Com, Rockwell, Zyxel....
