I used fetchmail and procmail and distributed the mails to the
respective users in /var/spool/mail. For example for two users x and y,
I have files with user permissions x, y and group permissions mail.
Still when I use mail for reading mail, I get response as no mail and
with pine i get response as in nor proper mail format. With kmail i get
response no mail, but the mail is deleted. Where I can go wrong.
my .fetchmailrc is as follows
poll < server name >
proto pop3
user <username>
pass <password>
flush
my .procmailrc is as follows.
:0
* ^To:*x
/var/spool/mail/x
:0
* ^To:*y
/var/spool/mail/y
Any improvements to these files are welcome. I also want to know why the
mails distributed in their boxes are not readable in any mailer.
