Or boot from linux installation CD into the rescue mode (linux
rescue on RH6.2, rescue on Mandrake7.1), mount all the linux partitions
with base dir (say) /lin and chroot /lin. then you can do either a
mkbootdisk, lilo, fdisk or whatever you want.
