Hi,
(I've not seen the earlier mails due to network problems here) I have a
AMD-K6-2-400 which has run and compiled kernels and other stuff perfectly
even at CPU temperatures of 75C for more than 4 hours a day. I did pay
Rs.500/- extra for the 64M RAM module (for 1 year ? warranty). Motherboard
is unknown brand with SiSchip and onboard graphics SiS530. Are you sure
your RAM modules are OK. I had a similiar problem earlier on another
unbranded motherboard where the RAM slots used to create problems due to
temperature changes (RAM was OK, just the slots were bad).
