I think my mobo is of exactly same model as of yours. Sis5597/Sis530. Anyway I don't
mind running ceiling fan and keeping the cabinet open.
Anyway I compiled KDE2. Hasn't tried yet. But it looks stable. Hadn't crashed within
an hour.
Earlier when I compiled it, the compile dumped several times. Each time I made 'make
clean;make' till it got thr. Once all done, it was not very stable. Even
konqueror(next KFM) was crashing.
This compile went without a single hiccup and it looks stable. Any explanation?
