Way to go buddy! Junta - another convert! (All you pine fans out there,
are you listening?)
I should be telling you to RTFM, but I always answer mutt related
questions. So here goes...
> 1. Save message to a folder and subsequently delete it from ur inbox
's' to save a mail. =foldername will save the mail in foldername under
(usually) /home/user/Mail/foldername.
> 2. expunge deleted messages from the folder while ur still in it (I
'$'

This feature of mutt is much more powerful that it is in other mailers.
't' to tag one message at a time, 'T' to tag messages that match a regex
(so, T, and then ~s LIH will match all messages that has LIH in the
subject line). Then, ';' to act on the tagged messages - 's' to save them,
'd' to delete them etc.
Anyway, use '?' in mutt to get context-sensitive help. Also, go through
/usr/doc/mutt-<version>/manual.txt for more help.
