Get a TCP-IP stack for DOS.  Lots of them around.  The pegasus mail page at
http://www.pmail.com/dl has a good howto.  There's a great dos browser called
arachne, newsreader/mailer called djgpp, newsreader - slrn ...

Add the dos m/c ips to /etc/hosts or set up dns on the redhat box.

This is not a client issue.
