Without making any permanant changes I sometimes use the following method to
invoke various wm's
(~# is the shell prompt)

1. ~# Run (press tab to get all the options)
2. Select something like RunWM.windowmaker & (you shold be able to reognise
the different wm's available)
3. this will start window maker.
