SuSE has more software (6 CDs in the full version) - lots more than anyone'd
need, normally. Redhat and SuSE are more or less the same re stability -
though SuSE is a bit faster.

You have to download and compile all that ... especially 2.4 which is still a
development kernel. Ditto with journaling filesystems like reiserfs.
