Solaris telnet has this sometimes irritating habit of sending your Solaris
login name without asking you, by default (as though, in linux, you issued
telnet -l <name>). This is good if your Solaris login id matched that on
linux, otherwise alias telnet to telnet -l <name>. Maybe there is a command
line switch to shut off this feature, but I can't offhand recall it.
