Couple of things to add.
1)Look at your ISP starter kit. DNS servers are listed there
2)Try enabling disable existing DNS thr. kppp, if you are not using
/etc/reslov.conf
3)ETH DNS sucks. Maybe beacuse it's misconfigured or may be because it runs on
NT.
4)VSNL DNS :- one listed above. Other is 202.54.10.18
