Hi

I have an old laptop. Toshiba make ..

Dlink PCMCIA 1Mbps, TDK v.34 Modem

It dosnt have CDDrive / provision to connect an external one ..

I wanted to Install Linux on that (present OS is 95)
I can set up a Linux server with FTP somewhere in my
network so that I can do a TFTP to install it.. But I dont
know the procedure of setting up TFTP and the req. things

                [ I have 1.44 floppy drive , Floppies ;-)
                        Networking hardware, cables
                        desktop PC running RedHat 6.2
                        with 10/100 NIC]
Which version of Redhat would you suggest ?
                ver 5, 6.1, 6.2 , 7 ????
Is this like WindoZe ??? When they upgrade the version we will
have to upgrade the hardware too ???
        [ I have RH ver 5 and 6.1 nad 6.2 ]
Idont mind installing even version 5 :-)

I hope someone out there might have experienced the same kinda
problem.

Please tell me how to preceed / advice me if there is any
alternative to install the same .

thanks
Bimal
