Go for the custom installation and select only the stuff you are absolutely
sure you will need. You can have a minimal RHL workstation installation on an
little as 400 MB.

I am running RHL 6.2 on an ACI laptop with a pentium 75, 32 MB RAM,
and it works well for me. I don't attempt kernel compiles, of course,
but I do run X and emacs. No problems so far. And I get good speeds.
My advice - don't go for KDE or GNOME. Run fvwm.
