Rajesh Fowkar rearranged electrons thusly:
> find . -depth -print | cpio -ocvdumB > /dev/st1
> This on linux gives broken pipe error message.
Instead of cpio, use tar to backup the entire directory structure to your tape
drive. Or, if you have it around, use BRU (backup and restore utility) - a
frontend for all this.
