Hi Suresh,

We infact wanted to backup entire hard disk. If we use tar than it creates problems
for /proc since we are backing from /. We have copied lot of stuff from SCO to make
the Basic and Cobol compiler work.

Now we have decided to back up using tar everything except /dev /boot and /proc.

The final system is not yet in place. Lot of experimentation, testing going on. Backup
stuff tomorrow.

Thanks

Rajesh
