I am way too glad if that's due to compression. But I don't believe VSNL supportes 
compression. Correct me if I am wrong.

BTW, any way to keep DNS cache across boots. I run DNS server with impressive 
improvement in performance for dialup conection. However the cache gets reset
at each boot. Any work around?
