Hello,

I use lame (3.87 beta) to encode my mp3's. Documentation accompanying it
mentions constant, average and variable bit rate encoding. Which is
better: average or variable bit rate encoding?

And which of the following would give me higher quality?

lame -b 128 --abr 128
(or)
lame -b 128 -v

Thanks,
Vinu.

Microsoft should switch to the vacuum cleaner business where people actually
want products that suck.
