 Again, bad - my killfile's more or less quadrupled in size thanks to
 news.admin.net-abuse.email and so I'd better stick to slrn (though I hate the
 dual window - prehistoric mutt - view)

 configure slrn to use mutt as the mailer - or use mail2news gateways.

 GP Singh ideally - but given the fact that news.vsnl.net.in is filtered all
 over the place (and has poor propogation etc), plus is on permanent probation
 after being UDP'd recently, I suggest you switch to a different news server.

 news.cis.dfn.de is what I use - go to http://news.cis.dfn.de and register
 there.  It rocks.
