6. Install LILO in boot partition, install windows which will overwrite
MBR, use win fdisk to make the partition on which LILO was installed
active, and make an entry in lilo.conf for winduz and run LILO - right.

You most certainly can, if:
1. You made a linux boot disk during setup or after setup, and
checked that the system booted fine from it.
2. Have a linux Cd which allows you to mount the linux fs, using a
rescue image
3. Have a live File System CD from SuSE or Slackware(these are teh
only ones I know)
4. Have a single floppy linux distro like LOAF or toms root bootdisk
