Hello,
I've been recompiling my kernel to include my PCI NE-2000 clone Lan card
(Realtek 8029). During my last re-installtion, I tried using insmod to load
it as a module instead. However the following error occured
#insmod ne2k-pci
/lib/modules/2.2.14-12/net/ne2k-pci.o : unresolved symbol ei_open
Ditto : ditto ethdev_init
Ditto : ei_interrupt
Ditto : ditto NS8390_init
ei_close
What's wrong?
Secondly, is it better load a Lan card as module, or as a part of the
kernel?
