Hi all,
I tried with mandrake 7.1 while installing i got an option to choose the
file system i selected raiserfs(Devolped by Suse labs).
problem is there three kernel labels with all the same boot image but
some change in initrd some thing like that (what is this Initrd).
two of images failed gave vfs error ut one image used to boot(linux-up
which was booting properly,other's are linux,failsafe) .
Evan linux-up failed to boot aftr some time, why it failed i don't know
iam at a loss here.
later I Reinstalled the os selected / as ext2 and rest as raiserfs, now
it works properly also i feel raiserfs is much faster than ext2.
any body tried this earlier?
please tellme ACL for raiserfs if any, lsattr chattr only works on ext2.
no man page is available for raiserfs.
please try it out and let me know.
