My first suggestion is , go back to RH 6.2 or any
but leave RH 7.0...it will make your life miserable..
use gcc compiler to compile your c and c++ code..about
IDE, there are lots...like cforge , sniff ..or if you
like to use console base IDE you can try RHIDE..a clone
of tc...
where...search them..at www.google.com/linux
