Dear linux users,
I had previously Rh6.0 on my p2 system. This was fine until I decided to
upgrade my kernel cause 2.2.5-15 does not support usb, so, I downloaded
kernel 2.2.17 from the net and compiled it. I in built most of the drivers.
Every thing is working fine except that I have a few problems
1) I get a waring that the system.map has incorrect kernel version, (
during the startup and shutdown and also when i run the top)
I have compiled kernal as bzImage file.
2) Before when I shutdown the machine the power used to turn off ( my smps
is atx type ) but now it doesn't. I referred to my old config file but
there they had an option called powerdown under apm. Is this a patch If it
is please tell me where to get it.
