the replying part is fine, but suppose someone does not want to open a
huge mail to refer to query that has been answered on LIH. So splitting
the digest into individual mail is a valid need.

p.s.
umm and anyway I can get the *bodies only* from an inline digest or mbox
file? I had tried this

 formail +1 -ds mbox | formail -I ""

doesnt work. For the moment I am using grep -v "^.*:\|^$", that is all
lines having the form

"<some_header_id>: " and empty lines are removed

But in some cases the header fields spans multiple lines these are getting
past the regex.

LIH is all for free speech. But it was created
for a purpose. Violations of the rules of
this list will result in stern action.
