Do a
#rpm -qa nfs
You should see an o/p as
knfsd-1.2.2-4
knfsd-clients-1.2.2-4
If not, then install the rpms from your RH cd
USe ntsysv to start the nfs daemon at boot time
Check whether portmapper is running (it should be ;-) )
Make the necessary entries in the /etc/exports file to export the directories
Make necessary entries in the /etc/fstab file to import directories
exports/imports can also be done through linuxconf or webmin ( take your pik)
