i mailed Rahul apologising for that. but i feel we need not be so rigid, that's why i
sent a thanks message. if i wanted to say only "thanks", i'd have sent it to Ashwin
personally. but you see, it had a comment extra! i too understand what Rahul meant.
i'm a list moderator myself, and i send thanks messages only selectively.
