Hi all,
I am trying to configure linux as a mailing
server,I came across this on the PCQ site.

Setting up fetchmail is very simpleall you need to do
is create a file called .fetchmailrc (dont miss the
leading dot!) in the root accounts home directory
(typically /root). Heres what you need to put in it:
(Assuming that your provider redirects all mail for
your domain (in our case cmil.com) to an account on
VSNLs server (in our case [EMAIL PROTECTED]),
and that account has a password mypassword, then your
fetchmailrc will look like this.)

set daemon=0
poll giasdl01.vsnl.net.in with protocol POP3:
no dns, aka cmil.com
user pcq is * here
password password

I did the above ,I replaced like this

set daemon=0
poll brisk-india.com with protocol POP3:
no dns, aka brisk-india.com
user ajayrc
password password

when I run the command on the console when I am
connected to the internet

fetchmail -k -a -v -d 0 -N

I get this error

fetchmail:/root/.fetchmailrc:2:parse error at poll

please Help

thanks in advance

ajay
