Try explicit /usr/local/bin/iptraf. /usr/local/bin is not in root's path by
default.
Really a dumb suggestion but it doesn't harm checking once more.
BTW, don't drop me a personal mail if you are sending it to LIH too. and vice
versa. It just creates confusion.
I don't know whether you are on LIH or not so sending at both places. But next
time I will make sure that it reaches via only one route...
