hdparm is first thing I set on. But as I said in other mail of this thread, it
didn't need swap during KDE compilation. 256MB is enough for it. So swap is out
of it. It has to be the kernel.

I have all possible optimisations enabled in BIOS. I don't know how one can
tune the kernel except for DMA.
