guess the kind of round trip i get from my immediate ppp peer some 8000ms.
talking about frownies :(. But its somewhat better now. But ICMP and ftp
responsiveness are not always concomitant. Sometimes stopping the pings
speeds it up for a while. But the best is restart the wget session. It
starts of good but usually peters out after some time.
