hi everyone,
I am Pradyot.I recently purchased PC quest and
installed Redhat Linux 6.2 from the CD. I have Cyrix
233 Mhz, 32mb ram and Graphics Card inbuilt over the
cyrix motherboard (2.5 MB). During
installation it did not detect my Display adapter.
I initially had 3 DOS partitions:
C: 2 GB primary
d: 1 GB extended logical
e: 1 GB extended logical
I deleted e: and tried to install Red Hat 6.2
I used F-DISK and made the Linux swap and native
drives. But when I tried to save this to partition
tables I received this message :
" Signal 11 received. Prematurely aborting linux
installation. Unmounting filesystems. Ejecting CD-ROM.
You may now reboot your system."
And my CD-ROM shot out.
I have tried this 3-4 times but the result is same.
Please guide me.
