You need special processors to get 42 ;)

Hi,
I am not sure what exactly is happening, but if you can get it through
kppp, rest assured you will get through with wvdial. Here's a couple of
queries

1) is wvdial able to detect the login and passwd prompts correctly
2) no typos in the login/passwd in your wvdial.conf I hope.
3) Is their a long delay before the "login" prompt appears
4) long delay after you fill in the login
5) does it say "dunno what to do...starting pppd anyway"
etc etc

best would be keep the debug option on in the ppp/options and/or
peers/wvdial and post the tail of /var/log/messages. Maybe also running
wvdial inside "script" so that one can see what all messages wvdial is
throwing.

Maybe those messages will shed some more light on this.
