[LIH] how to log on to MSN using gaim

Hello all

I have installed gaim but I am unable to logon to MSN? When ever I try
with my hotmail email id it is returned with "read error" msg. What could
be the problem? Is it an account problem? How do I register an account for
MSN messenger account? I need this as some of my friends using MSN.
