[LIH] proxy server for internet

Though I got a reply on this list to use squid for proxy server for the
internet, I remember an old pc-quest article to do it without squid.

I want to connect to the internet using a linux box and access the internet
from linux and windoze pc's connected by LAN over a tcp/ip network.

Help!
